Wine, Culture and French Gastronomy

Arrival in the afternoon and check-in at the hotel,
We suggest a cup of tea or coffee in the bar followed by walk to Les Trois Châteaux (the three castles), only 20 minutes from the hotel, in order to awake your appetite for the dinner…
Dinner and night in duplex-room;

Breakfast Buffet and departure for visits
We suggest a drive on the Route des Vins d’Alsace, up to Le Châteaux Haut Koenigsbourg (25 minutes drive from the hotel), magnificient castle with a gorgeous view, then a nice lunch (for example Tarte Flambée) in a typical charming village on the wine-road as Riquewihr or Kaysersberg followed by a little walk in the streets surrounded by half-timbered houses flowered with geraniums… While in this part of Alsace, You might like to visit the castles of the pretty little city of Ribeauvillé, its Way of the Cross through the forest or its textile factories (Beauvillé).
Back at the hotel for a well deserved dinner (followed by a drink in the bar?)

Breakfast Buffet and activities in the hotel (tennis, swimming-pool, or just enjoying the terrace with a good book),
Eventually lunch at the hotel (salad, sandwiches, quiches)
Departure for visits of Colmar: The Unterlinden Museum and its famous Retable d’Isenheim, then shopping in Centrum followed by La Petite Venise: a most charming French quarter with small channels, flowers and terraces,
Dinner in Colmar (we can book for You if You wish!)

Breakfast Buffet and departure for visits,
We suggest to head for the Mont Saint Odile cloister in he Vosges mountains and eventually to enjoy a cup of coffee after visiting the monument and heading for Strasbourg to have lunch near the famous Cathedral. Then discover the city by boat on a guided tour passing as well the charming Petit France, the European Parliament and many other beautiful sites.

Breakfast Buffet and departure for visits,
We suggest a short trip to Lapoutroie where You can visit the Musée de l’Eau de Vie (water of life: fruit-brandy) and eventually buy some to take home, then to have lunch in a Ferme Auberge (farmhouse) and to come back toward the Munster valley where You could buy some cheese (we can pack it for You).
Coming back to the hotel via the wineroad, stop in a cellar to taste some Alsace wine (and maybe buy some to bring home),
