In Alsace...

The Alsace region offers many attractions with its picturesque wine-villages, local wine-tastings, mountaintrips and hikes for nature-lovers, museums, castels, animal-parcs, Colmar and its beautiful ancient town (Petite France), Strasbourg with the European Parliament and the splendid cathedral and old city (petite Venise), historical monuments...
And the area offers an exceptionnal and diversified gastronomy from the isolated "Fermes Auberges" to Star-restaurants.

The Four Seasons in the Alsace :

• Spring :
  Enjoy an early springtime beside the light green vineyards and flowering fruittrees and enjoy lunch on one of the many sunny terraces.
• Summer :
  Visit the old villages, beautifully decorated with an abundance of flowers. All are competing for the title of "Village Fleuri". Everywhere there are wine-festivals.
• Fall :
  The hills are covered with colorful vineyards and the grapes are being harvested.
• Winter :
  December is a very special time of the year. Every village is decorated for Christmas and each has its own Chistmas-market, with its own specialities. Skiing can be done close by in the Vosges mountains.
